I'm fairly new to Audition as the audio i receive has typically been produced before I ever get it. In the video, the speaker isn't holding the mic too close. The lav mic audio came in fine but anyone that was using the handheld, the vocals sound like their clipping but when I open the file it doesn't appear to be clipped. Other clips include speakers who used lav mics. It was recorded at a conference and the speaker was using a handheld mic. I've searched the forums and found similar discussions but not sure I am using the right terminology so I wanted to pose the question just in case.

Note not all of them have this issue, and they work in the previous version. The other thing of note is some previously created favorites no longer work, giving the following error: 'The favorite cannot be applied to this file'. This is what the Audition log kept saying: Tried Google searching 'General import failure', but there was nothing. Aifs, wavs, and all other formats open no problem. Opened up CC 2017, and all the flacs loaded just fine. We thought it was a bad flac so we tried another, same result. The install went fine and there were no issues until trying to open a flac file, and get this message:

My co-worker recently upgraded their Mac OSX version of Adobe Audition from CC 2017 10.0.2 to CC 2018 11.1.0.
